For their Happily ever after….

Hi friends,

I know i have absented myself from the world of writing for almost an year now, but the absence has only been from the world of blogging. I have taken a full time job that involves the so called ‘creative writing’……I would love to elaborate, but this blog is definitely not about my job. This blog is actually dedicated to two of my very good friends who are getting married tomorrow. As I have been confined to my bed for the past couple of days this is the least I could think of to give as a token of our friendship…

We have all read in fairy tales, about how the boy meets the girl, how they fall in love and about how their life undergoes certain hardships and finally after all that they get their happily ever after….. As my dear friends take the leap towards their happily ever after, I make this wish to God that he fills their life with his blessings. Let their days be filled with love and respect for each other, let each day bring in everlasting trust and understanding.

Well… let me tell you what is so special about these two. Apart from the fact that they are made for each other, the fact that they have been in love for almost a decade now a commendable in itself. You might say what is so great in that, but it is great that the fire within them was never dampened by the distances that kept them apart; that no matter in which corner of the country they lived they stayed in love and never let any differences pull them apart. In this world of modern thinking which celebrates the idea of changing partners every weekend and where flirting is considered to be a style statement, it is really soothing to see two people so much in love.

For the past few years I got the chance to be a part of their wonderful life. To have found such great friends in both of them is my luck. So today its my duty to tell them how much they mean to me, and what better occasion than their wedding for the same. I am not a poetess so forgive me for the mistakes, but yet this is to say that I love you guys and I so so much miss not being able to attend your wedding.

I ask them,
wait till you witness
they say in passion…
I wait and see
the magical wedding.
Love fills in..
and the air is glee
God joins the two
to start a new story
they walk into the yew
together to write their Happily ever after.
